DataBank’s Midtown Atlanta Data Center is part of the CODA development, a 645,000 sq. ft. mixed-use office complex, now open in Georgia Tech’s Technology Square. Part of a vibrant technology ecosystem built around Georgia Tech, DataBank’s 41,000 sq. ft. ATL1 data center houses the university’s High-Performance Computing Center (HPCC), as well as the Southern Crossroads, which provides high speed connectivity to research and education sites throughout the southeast and across the nation. ATL1 is a showcase of data center engineering and efficiency, leveraging chilled door cooling to achieve a 105kW maximum cabinet power density and even recycling the heated water for use by the CODA building next door.
