ATL1
ATL1 Atlanta data center is nestled in the heart of the CODA development in Midtown Atlanta. This development spans 645,000 square feet and serves as a mixed-use office complex within Georgia Tech’s Technology Square. Atlanta DC encompasses 41,000 square ft, is not just a data center; it’s a hub of technological advancement.
The facility powers research and development with its data center infrastructure and information technology. Additionally, ATL1 hosts Georgia Tech’s High-Performance Computing Center (HPCC) and the Southern Crossroads.
The DC stands out for its data center engineering and efficiency. It employs chilled door cooling technology, allowing for an impressive 105kW maximum cabinet power density. ATL1 maintains a green technology ecosystem by recycling heated water for the building next door. The ecosystem works and is a good idea to be energy efficient with hot water.
